This Sunglo post-mount heater is an ideal choice for adding warmth and style to your outdoor space without taking up too much valuable floor space. It installs permanently in your patio and utilizes radiant heat to warm people and objects, not the surrounding air. The heater post is made from commercial-quality, 304 grade stainless steel. This patio heater uses natural gas and operates at 50,000 BTUs per hour. The deep dish reflector broadcasts radiant heat over an area of up to 12 feet in diameter, depending on wind conditions. The Sunglo PSA265E utilizes an electronic ignition and monitors the heater through flame rectification. The heater cannot be manually lit and is turned off/on with electrical switch, timer or other control device by interrupting the 24 VAC supply to the heater, 24VAC transformer is not included and should be supplied by the installer. The unit also has a safety shut off control, transformer is not included. A 24 inch clearance from combustibles around the sides of the heater is required for safe use.
