Made from Corten Steel and handcrafted in the USA. Corten Steel, also known as weathering steel, gives your outdoor space a rustic feel. This striking material develops a surface layer of rust that protects it from further deterioration and eliminates the need for painting. However, weathering steel is not ideal for locations with salt laden air, high rainfall, humidity, or persistent fog as these conditions will prevent the steel from forming the protective layer. Use the included Lava Rock or upgrade to a beautiful selection of Fire Glass. If upgrading to Fire Glass, 75 pounds is recommended. The 304 stainless steel burner produces a maximum 65,000 BTUs. Key valve accepts half inch male fitting hose. This corten steel Fire Pit has a surrounding area of 60 W x 24 D x 24 H with a burning area of 48 W x 12 D x 2 H. Access door included. Burner pan features multiple drainage holes for proper water runoff. This unit includes an electronic ignition system that will relight your fire pit if wind blows it out. The electronic ignition can be wired by your local electrician to be controlled by a light switch, pool controller (with available relay), or home automation system.
