This 100-foot 2-wire stranded copper cable is ideal for all low voltage lighting installations. The thick 12 average wire gauge (AWG) is required for all LED Hinkley landscape lighting and is recommended for all other lighting. To calculate the amount of cable you need, measure the distance from your transformer to the last fixture on the run, add 1 to 2 feet of wire per fixture to allow for re-positioning. The cable can be installed above or below ground with no need for electrical piping or conduit, in most cases.
